Collectible snipers appear repeatedly in official Murderers VS Sheriffs DUELS patch history. RED21 Games announced snipers in Standard and Premium cases, limited collections, and Season Passes. This proves the category exists historically; it does not establish the complete current roster, equip behavior, rarity, availability, or trade rules.
Use the live collection to decide whether a named sniper is owned, obtainable, equipped, or tradable. Do not assume every sniper replaces the normal revolver in every queue.
Verify a sniper entry
Record the exact name, collection, color, displayed type, rarity, source, availability, equip rule, and trade status. Add a check date. If the client shows a description, preserve the distinction between a cosmetic model and a weapon with different mechanics.
Do not infer damage, zoom, projectile speed, or pullout time from appearance. One historical patch notes that sniper pullout time was reduced to match other guns at that date, but today’s behavior still needs observation.
If the item is called “collectible,” treat that as its category or presentation unless the current UI explains a mechanical difference.
Historically documented sniper sources
Official updates have connected collectible snipers with Premium and Standard cases, multiple limited collections, and Seasons 3, 6, 7, and 8. Named examples include Frostbite Sniper in the Season 6 announcement, while other entries describe a sniper without publishing the item name in the patch summary.
Limited collections such as Dragon Fire, Mermaid, Fang, Ice Pegasus, Nebula, and others were announced with a sniper and matching themed weapons. The historical color count varied. Confirm which variants actually appear in the current collection before building a catalog.
Use “historically announced” for these sources. Current Shop availability, case pool, pass access, and trade status need the live client.
Equip and test without assuming stats
Open the collection and read the equip action. Confirm which side or weapon slot changes and whether the model appears only as a skin. Enter a normal match and observe crosshair, animation, pullout, shot behavior, and recovery without claiming a difference from one impression.
If the sniper appears on the character’s back, that visual has historical official support. It does not prove the same positioning or behavior on every avatar and device today.
Test the same angle with the normal weapon and the sniper cosmetic if possible. Record only visible differences. Do not publish an advantage unless the current official description explicitly supports it.
Compare a sniper for trading
Verify the exact color and whether the offer contains the sniper alone or an entire collection set. Community value pages may list sniper collectibles separately from knives, guns, and sets. Do not use one category’s reference for another.
Compare at least two dated community references where available. Values are unitless negotiation points, not official prices, Gems, Robux, or cash. Current demand can change when a collection returns or another season adds supply.
Keep the trade inside the current game window. Read Trading Safety and verify every item after an offer changes.
Decide whether to open, earn, or trade
If the sniper is in a current case, inspect the preview, cost, and displayed odds before opening. Set a Gem limit and accept that the desired item is not guaranteed unless the live panel explicitly says so. Do not copy old rates.
If it belongs to a current Season Pass, compare your reachable level and remaining time. If it is no longer obtainable, item-for-item trading may be the only documented route, but confirm current trade eligibility.
Do not buy through real-money marketplaces or trade accounts. Scarcity does not justify leaving Roblox safety controls.
Common sniper mistakes
- Calling the patch archive a complete current sniper list.
- Treating “collectible” as proof of stronger damage.
- Mixing one color, one sniper, and a complete set in value comparisons.
- Assuming a historical Season or case remains active.
- Copying old case odds or pullout timing as current.
- Accepting a cropped screenshot instead of the live item window.
- Paying cash or moving the deal outside the game.
Build a currently documented sniper Dex
Use one mobile-friendly card per verified item: name, color, collection, source type, availability, equip behavior, rarity, trade status, evidence level, and checked date. Leave unsupported fields empty. Call the result “currently documented” until the live collection can prove complete coverage.
Use Cases for opening decisions, Season Pass for track rewards, and Value List for dated community references.
